![]() (I was never a superstar or famous, plus i'm old as hell. I used to be in a professional gaming group. This is purely my thoughts and I don't have inside knowledge to go to. ![]() I would personally be pissed if I bought a new game and it was exactly like Reflex. It's completely free to keep playing that game and you can ignore what gets released. If you seriously like a game that is already out and you own it, then what are you complaining about. I personally want to see Rainbow / Nordic move forward with another great release in the right direction and stop living in the past. Encore is a step back in the right direction and on some levels I prefer it better than Reflex, and on others not as much. Leave the DLC out of it because nobody says you HAVE to buy it to play the game. If anyone plays or even pays attention to the Madden series (or NCAA Football when it was around), it's the same game year after with with subtle changes and a roster upgrade for $60, and then all kinds of unlockables that end up costing you well over $100 if you play online regularly. I'm not saying the way Nordic has done it is the best way, but I've seen much worse. Other companies were able to package that under an all in one licensing agreement. The PS4 multiplayer is always busy, and the Xbox One (since recently released) seems to be catching up.Ĭomplain about the DLC all you want, but there are lots of people who said they wanted real bikes, and there's a price associated with that. Get on the consoles and you'll find that Encore is a very well liked game and played by plenty. Mods is all that is keeping Reflex PC going.
