I have not started adding back our presets yet bc I'm a little hesitant after this experiment. So I went back to our normal users on both machines and removed the 2 Track Presets folders I made and boom, Pro Tools on both machines started flying under our normal users. So I setup a new user on one of the machines to test and Pro Tools was flying. That said, I removed iCloud sync'ing from the Documents folder on both machines and it did not fix the issue. I think this is slowing down Pro Tools when it's opening and maybe using Track Presets bc it's indexing files that aren't really on the HD anymore. And I noticed some of the files in the Pro Tools folder in Documents were being stored in the cloud. iCloud tries to intelligently store files in the cloud that aren't used regularly. I'm still not sure if iCloud is part of the culprit in my case. Both machines started beach balling when clicking anywhere on the track header. But, I can confirm that the issue started for me when updating BOTH of our machines to 2023.3.
